Background
Beauty products carry more decision-relevant attributes than typical retail: shade, size and skin type all change what a shopper buys. When those attributes are buried in detail-page prose, shoppers either compare back and forth or give up.
What we did
- Built browsing, categories and search, turning category attributes into filters
- Made shade and size selection prominent on the product page, with add-to-cart right after
- Built the cart and checkout flow
- Built order management and the account area
