Background
An expired or misconfigured certificate directly affects whether a site is reachable and whether it is compliant. In an oversight setting the question is never about one site but about the overall state of a large set of domains — checking them one by one neither scales nor produces a view that can be presented in a meeting.
What we did
- Collected and checked domain certificates in bulk
- Aggregated the results and classified them by certificate status and type
- Built a real-time visualization wall for oversight and reporting
- Tuned data refresh and rendering under high concurrency so the wall stays stable when it runs for long periods
